April 2024 – CHINA-EUROPE RENEWABLE ENERGY INDUSTRY FORUM at CBTC

April 12th, CBTC – China Belgium Technology Center – United Investment Europe was honored to host the CHINA-EUROPE RENEWABLE ENERGY INDUSTRY FORUM, co-organized with the Shenzhen Battery Industry Association, Representative Office in EU of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CPPIT), advised by Wallonia Export & Investment Agency, together with the support of Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce – BCECC and China Chamber of Commerce to the EU (CCCEU) 欧盟中国商会.

This forum permitted to introduce cutting edge sustainable technologies, to foster a stronger China-Europe collaboration, and to explore various pathways towards a greener, more sustainable future worldwide.
As an ecosystem that connects Europe and China, CBTC is committed to fostering collaboration and promoting innovation in the renewable energy sector.
It was also the occasion for the signing of several Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) during Friday’s event.
One Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by CBTC – China Belgium Technology Center – United Investment Europe, Wallonia Export & Investment Agency, and the Shenzhen Battery Industry Association. This tripartite strategic cooperation agreement signifies the joint commitment to provide a platform for exchanges, cooperation, and industrial development for Chinese and European enterprises.

Additionally, three separate MOUs were signed by CBTC with Botree Recycling Technologies, an expert in battery material recycling, HiTHIUM Energy Storage, a leader in the Battery Energy Storage Solution (BESS) and HICI Digital Power Technology Co., Ltd., specializing in new energy charging solutions.

CBTC aims to to support European and Chinese companies operating in various sectors such as Life Sciences, New Energy and Smart Manufacturing/ Industry 4.0. With our extensive 70,000 m² infrastructure and dedicated landing services and business services department, we are well-equipped to accommodate the needs of our partners and facilitate their growth and success.
